Position Summary

Steppingstone is hiring 5th and 6th grade math teachers for its out-of-school time programs for the 2016-2017 school year. Salary is $5000 for the full year. Start date can be flexible. To learn more about teaching with Steppingstone, watch our videos here.

Math Teaching Positions at the College Success Academy (CSA)

Location: Edison School in Brighton and the McKay School in East Boston (teachers will teach at one location)
Class Schedule: September 13 – December 8 and January 10 – May 11
•  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:15 – 5:45 p.m. (start time may be flexible)
Salary: $5000 for the full year

Qualifications

Candidates must have teaching experience, a strong background in their subject area, experience differentiating classroom instruction, and an interest in working with diverse populations. Independent school or Boston Public Schools teaching experience is preferred. Graduate students will be considered; undergraduate degree is required for summer teachers; undergraduate students in a teacher-training program may be considered for the academic year. Certification is not required.
